Aliens landed in the Excelsior, and they’re here for our Spring Menu.

Introducing the uWus an Alien race that crash-landed in Excelsior’s McLaren Park, and are here for the Spring Menu 2026.

I provided Creative Direction on this campaign, and led our brand team to create the assets to bring this vision to life. With this campaign, I wanted to elevate the storytelling aspect of our previous campaigns and provide a through-line that would resonate across all touch-points. A narrative driven campaign that brought us a new event series at the storefront and new merch to coincide with the Spring Menu drinks.

Spring Fling 2026

An event celebrating the launch of our Spring Menu 2026, the first of it’s kind. We unveiled a new tee shirt designed by Dar, and on the day of the event the shop was activated with another pop-up photobooth by 35mmgirl Studios, with a themed backdrop to match the campaign premise and tee shirt release. DJs spun in our parklet, where we highlighted our breakfast menu.

Video Advertisements

I conceptualized, shot and directed these videos to highlight the different seasonal offerings within the world built in this campaign. These videos offer a narrative throughline highlighting the uWus arrival in the Excelsior, and reveal their reason for sticking around.

Car Ads

For this campaign, it should probably be “UFO” ads, but in any case continuing with our throughline of classic automotive style advertisements we highlighted an uWu crash landing site in San Francisco.

At the heart of Excelsior Coffee is the crossover between the automotive world and coffee, fueling up lovers of hot and cold beverages alike. I developed our “Car Ad” style of advertising to pay homage to the classic magazine style car advertisements of decades past. Blending together the world of design, product photography and creative copy, we highlight each seasonal offering through a fresh perspective.
